Smallmouth Bass Fishing

Maine offers tremendous small mouth bass fishing and this is an often over-looked fishery in the state.  With MooseKat, we can put you in to the monster smallies with spinning gear or fly rods on a river or on a lake.  We'll customize your smallmouth bass trip depending on your wants and needs.  If you want to catch smallmouths on a fly rod, we'll help you catch them on a fly rod.  If you want to fight them with light spinning gear or jig them up on the lakes, we'll accommodate your needs.  Smallmouth bass fishing in Maine is fun and fast.  These fish can also be great eating in the deeper lakes early in the year.

Bass

This is one of the most customizable trips we can offer.  We can start when you like and end when you like.  We can use the big boat, the float raft, canoes, or wade the rivers.  Whatever your needs, we'll do our very best to bring the bronzebacks to your net. The best part about bass fishing, like any fishing, you're always learning. We have recently begun competitive fishing through joining the Outcast Bass Club . This is a catch-and-release club, helping to keep Maine's bass populations healthy. Club fishing is also a great way to keep current on what techniques are working and what spots are hot. Give our bass charters a try - you won't be dissappointed!
