A fine day's work ice fishing with MooseKat...

    MooseKat Guide Service offers ice fishing experiences all over the state of Maine, depending on what you want to fish for and what adaptations you are willing to make in order to catch fish. There are a variety of special regulations on many of Maine's ice fishing waters. Some folks prefer to always use 5 traps and live bait while some are partial to 2 traps using only dead bait and no motorized equipment.  Whether you are a traditional ice fisherman or prefer ice fishing with technology Maine has the fishing experience you are looking for, and MooseKat can provide that for you.

   It was an interesting winter and the ice fishing didn't disappoint. The fishing was good and we provided the clients we had out with some excellent charters they're sure to remember.     Our ice fishing rates are $250 per day for 2 people.  An additional $50 a day for each additional person. Trips are for up to 8 hours of fishing, overtime rate is $80 per hour.  These rates include lunch, bait and equipment (for up to 4; larger parties are welcome though we may not fish 5 traps per fisherman).
