Welcome to the Highlands Region of Maine!  Whether this is your first time visiting the region or your hundredth, your trip with us is sure to be one you won't forget.  This unique region offers it all: great fishing, an abundace of the flora and fauna Maine has to offer, mountain views of the Appalachian Mountain chain  (terminating at Mount Katahdin), and clean water with freshwater beaches to swim at.  Much of the wilderness in this region is the same area Henry David Thoreau has written about in some of his more famous pieces.  There is great fishing opportunities here for all types of anglers, no matter what your skill level.  

Not into fishing? There is something for everybody here.  Hikers, bird watchers, moose watchers, leaf peepers, hunters and fishermen alike, if you love the outdoors then the Moosehead/Katahdin region is the place for you.
